☀️ A sunny afternoon at Krissini 🥖 bakery

The renovations have taken a little longer than we hoped, so first of all — thank you for your patience and support while we’ve been creating our new space. ❤️
Now it’s time to come and have a look!

Everything is freshly baked in-house, with an Australian baker behind the ovens, plenty of Italian inspiration in the pastry cabinet, and lots of familiar local faces around the place.

Come with a friend, bring the family… and of course, bring the dog too — they’re family as well! 🐕
There’s plenty of parking, room to breathe and no need to battle the busy town traffic. Just good food, open space, friendly faces and a little Italian hospitality in Margaret River. 🇮🇹

🔨 WE’RE CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS! 🇮🇹

Our Bakehouse is taking a short break while we make a few changes behind the scenes. We’ll be closed from Monday 17 August, reopening Thursday 27 August.

Same Italian goodness, just with a little refresh. 🇮🇹✨

Casual Kitchen Prep Staff

KRISSINI Margaret River is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Casual Kitchen Prep Staff member to join our friendly bakery team.

Your role will include:

- Preparing filled focaccias and paninis
- Making fresh salads
- Daily kitchen preparation
- Assisting with general food preparation and maintaining a clean workspace

About you:

- Previous food handling or kitchen experience is preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Good attention to detail and takes pride in quality
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Available to work weekends, especially Saturdays
- Food Safety Certificate is an advantage but not essential

KRISSINI Margaret River is looking for an experienced Baker or Pastry Chef to join our growing family-run artisan bakery.

We're looking for someone who:

- Has proven bakery or pastry experience.
- Is skilled in pastry laminating, pie and sausage roll production.
- Has experience producing a range of sweet and savoury pastry products.
- Understands dough formulas, mixing techniques and dough handling.
- Has good maths skills, uses initiative and works efficiently.
- Is reliable and available for early starts and afternoon shifts.

What we offer:

- A friendly family-owned workplace.
- Traditional artisan baking using premium local ingredients.
- A supportive team environment and staff discounts.
- A potential pathway to employer sponsorship for the right candidate (subject to performance, business needs and visa eligibility).

What's your favourite Krissini market tradition?

Just taking a moment to reflect on what we do, who we are, and why we love doing it.
It all started at the Margaret River Farmers' Market Saturday after Saturday, rain, hail or shine, we've been there sharing Kris' baking with our local community and visitors from near and far.
The day goes by in a flash. We set up, serve hundreds of wonderful customers, sell out, and pack down.
Behind every market day are long hours. We start baking around midnight so everything is fresh for the morning. By the time we get home, we're ready for a well-deserved nap and grateful for another day doing what we love.
Some Saturdays gift us beautiful blue skies. Others challenge us with winter rain and cold winds. Either way, we're always thankful to be part of this incredible community.

The truth is, none of this would be possible without the support of the Margaret River community. Thank you for showing up week after week, supporting local businesses, and looking after one another.
These beautiful photos were captured by the talented Sean Ovis Creative over the Easter weekend. As winter gives us a little more breathing room, we're looking forward to spending some time working on the business, not just in it, and sharing more of our journey with you.

What started as a small market stall continues to grow into our dream of a Margaret River Bottega — an Italian-inspired bakery and café built on tradition, community, and good food.
