We ask this question whenever we meet a new customer. The common answer is strong! But we often get nutty, chocolatey and fruity too. Our coffee beans are roasted light to medium, so the flavours really sing ☕️

There are a world of coffee beans out there. How do we choose which ones to purchase and roast? We order samples, and settle in for a cupping session.

What’s cupping we hear you ask? In simple terms, it’s how we assess coffee. It starts with aroma, then acidity, taste and body. Similar to assessing wine! Got any questions? Send us a DM.

OF COURSE SHE WANTS COFFEE FOR MOTHER’S DAY
Our freshly roasted coffee beans are now available in three sizes, 250g, 500g and 1kg. Only you know how much caffeine your Mum needs, but if in doubt, bigger is always better! And, if you make the coffee and leave her to drink it peacefully in the garden, you’ll get “favourite child” status too, we promise.

BUNS & BREWS PART THREE
We eat so many good things at the
every week. Lucia at bakes the most incredible bread, so when she said she was making hot-cross buns, we were IN!

There were so many surprises - chocolate, orange, spice, soft and utterly delicious. The chocolate orange was unexpected and most welcome! Totally unique.
