LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED COOK/CHEF

From Scratch is a ready-made meal producer cooking from Karridale.

Our meals are made with organic ingredients and love. They are gluten free and free from seed oils.
We are currently looking to add an experienced cook/chef to the team for 2-3 days per week (Mon + Tues, Weds in future).

Our operation is ever expanding and with current growth we are looking for someone who could do some of the cooking.

The role:
* Vegetable prep – cutting vegetables in various cuts and large quantities (60-80kg per week)
* Cooking the curries and stew style dishes
* Preparing baked goods
* Preparing spice mixes
* Portioning cooked dishes and labelling containers
* Washing dishes

About you:
* You have commercial cooking experience and are up to date on AU food safety regulations
* You are efficient and fast with veg prep
* You have a passion for clean, organic and local food
* You are meticulous, organised, clean and tidy
* You have reliable transportation
* You are settled locally and intend to stay at least until after summer
* Essential: You are a pro at witty banter

We're back from a lovely break and ready to get back into the kitchen to cook your dinners and lunches!

Our frozen stock has considerably dwindled due to increased demand, so we're putting efforts in place to be able to cook even more.

You might have seen our ad for staff - we are adding yet more people to the team! If you, or someone you know, is interested in joining us, please reach out to us at [email protected]

The deadline for ordering is Wednesday 7am (delivery) and 4pm (pick up).

There will be no delivery in 2 week's time, on Wednesday 30 September.

Next week's menu is offering beautiful creamy goodness!

Beef Stroganoff is back on the menu and so is Tarragon Mustard Chicken.
And....the beloved Kashmiri Lamb Curry is also featuring!

Lots is happening at From Scratch HQ!

We are now stocking 3 of 's amazing breads! You can order them from us until Monday 3pm. They will then bake your bread on Tuesday and we will deliver it to you on Wednesday.
We think it's a great addition to our offering. Have it alongside one of our meals or soups.

We are now also being stocked at ! They will have all our fresh meals available from Wednesday till Saturday, so head out there to grab a meal or 2!
And while you're there, stock up your veggie drawer, grab some eggs and sit down for a coffee and piece of cake.
