made my fav pohpiah because i saw a wild batch of jicama while at the asian mart and HAD TO BUY IT bc its sooo rare and expensive here.

anyway! after an hour of chopping and prepping, and another hour of simmering the jicama, i finally got to eat 7 rolls of pohpiah 🥹 and it tastes exactly like the ones you’d get from the hawker centers in SG🥹😭 my life is complete 😭😭😭

Some people love this place, some absolutely hate it (service + quality seems hit or miss) but for $14 a dish, I actually think it’s pretty good. Exactly what I expected. Caviar isn’t beluga obvs… but it’s also $14 a bump.

best fried chicken in melbourne?!?!! 🍗

We got the Royal Fried, Chicken Cheese Burger and small fries.

The shop is ranen by the loveliest duo and honestly the way their chicken is battered is 💯– its super crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside.
It’s fried but it isn’t oily at all.

Burger bun is also soft and fresh (im very particular about a burger’s bun)

Can’t get enough!!! i can’t believe there was no one at lunch time on a sat
