A throwback to the original Breheny Bros Brewery in Toowoomba, purchased in 1908 by John Louis Breheny, alongside John Leslie and Gerald Breheny, and operated by the family until 1915.
John Louis Breheny’s brewing story stretched across Australia from Gippsland Brewing Co. in Sale (1898–1904), to Melbourne Co-operative Brewery (1904–1908), before heading north to Breheny Bros in Toowoomba.
It’s also where Queensland Bitter was originally brewed, a Breheny family recipe we’ve proudly brought back to life more than 100 years later.
