Reine and La Rue .larue has been on my hit list for quite awhile now and what can I say, it blew me away. It blew me away so much that I had to come out of hibernation and post back here to express my joy. Highlights from the evening include; the Salt-baked celeriac a la grecque with hazelnut, Wholegrain & rye sourdough with burnt honey butter, the Mayura Station Wagyu flat steak (not pictured due to a bad photo 😢) and the Pomme purée, bone marrow and jus gras. All of these were heavenly, just like the cathedral like dining room which is one of the most beautiful spaces to eat in Melbourne. A very special place indeed!
