Honored to be the exclusive importer of this iconic winery MILLEMANN WINES. Biodynamically farmed and as low intervention as possible doesn’t necessarily mean producing so called natural wines. Natural Yes. Delicious definitely Yes as well, which is the most essential thing for the consumables like wine.

Wording is still a bit weak. Just let the wines narrate and shine.

A quick catch-up dinner with friends. Tasting in blind. Whites - Bouzereau Meursault is so classic with textbook-like characteristics of punchy power and minerality. Cool airy noses and lifted palate with lush sappy acidity, even though it’s a 2020. I was right on the varietals of that Hermitage, Marsanne ( might blend with Roussane), tropical fruits profile with honeysuckle and white pepper. Distinct bitterness and warmth on the finish. Quite classic but just out of my comfort zone.
Reds- Dujac was mine. Gruenchers is one of my favorite with in Dujac’s portfolios. A chambolle with strong Dujac style.
SC Nuits was a bit tricky. Cool airy noses of black cherry, violet, vosne-like spice and oaky soft earth. There is great depth on the mid- weight flavors that delivers strikingly silky tannin with hint of wet wood on the finale. I came out with a 2019 Nuits st George 1er from a non NSG producer, say Vosne. The first came into my mind is Mugneret. However, when it revealed, it was from SC. Oh, not far. 🙂‍↔️
