Creating my Lamb Saag with took me straight back to travelling through India.
That journey shaped my cooking, especially how I understand spice, balance, and comfort.
Inspired by those memories, we spent months perfecting this meal to keep it honest, delicious, and true to how I cook.

Mums been making this caramel tart for me since before I can remember… one of those desserts that instantly feels like home. So it only felt right making it for Mum and Nan here in Melbourne 🥹🤍

It’s ridiculously easy and somehow still one of the best desserts ever.

Pastry
200g flour
100g butter
50g water
Pinch of salt

Top with 1 can caramel + 250ml whipped cream and you’re done ✨

My latest Chefgood delivery just landed ✨

Love the new website experience and menu - all the meals still as delicious as ever. I’ve been rotating between Braised Lamb Saag (my own creation), Thai Chicken Stir-Fry and Creamy Chicken & Mushroom Pasta lately. Just 2 minutes in the microwave and it honestly feels like having your own personal chef at home 🤍

I love being your mum Phoenix, Charlotte & Claudia. What a beautiful Mothers Day 🥹

Yesterday I got to spend the day with Cobram Estate, and it was such a good reminder of how important it is to know where our food comes from.

From the olive groves to the pressing process and finally tasting the oil itself, it was great seeing how much care goes into every bottle. You really can taste the difference when something is fresh and done properly.

We finished with a beautiful, long lunch drenched in extra virgin olive oil, good produce, and great conversation. Feeling very grateful for days like this. 🌿

Sharing this feels incredibly raw. The birth of our girls was the opposite of anything I had ever hoped for. With Phoenix, I had a natural, drug-free birth… calm, grounded, everything I had imagined. This time, it was the complete opposite: every level of intervention, moments that felt overwhelming, and a kind of fear I’ve never known before.

Telling this story hasn’t been easy. It’s deeply personal, emotional, and still something I’m processing. But The Australian Women's Weekly held it with so much care, compassion, and respect… and I’m so grateful for that.

Our time at Monash Hospital and then at Sandringham Hospital NICU is something I'll carry with me forever. The nurses, the visiting teams, the quiet conversations, the way they looked after the girls, the way they reassured us in the hardest moments… it was all so intimate. So human.

There were moments I felt completely out of control… but they gave us a sense of safety when we needed it most. They held our hands, they guided us, and they loved our girls like they were their own.

And to Declan … thank you for never leaving our side, not for a second.

As a mum, there is nothing more powerful than knowing your babies are in the best possible hands. And in those rooms, with those people, I felt that, deeply. I’ll never be able to thank them enough 🤍

Slipped out for a little afternoon tea at The Langham, Melbourne (with the lovely Dannii Minogue🤍), then home to make scones for the family from The Langham Afternoon Tea Book.

The fig jam? Fresh figs, sugar, a pinch of salt, a touch of vanilla… let it sit to draw out those beautiful juices, then simmer for 15 minutes until perfectly jammy. Simple, cosy, and a little bit of Langham magic at home ✨
