s. Everyone in the community has a role in imagining and building a future that radically reduces our impact on the community and the Planet. Our small Australian business seeks to consciously contribute to building this future by promoting sustainable lifestyles and producing lower impact packaging products that compete on value for money and not just price. Profit will make our business sustainable but most important to us at GreenBox Australia is our community. In supplying our quality packaging products we have tried to move away from purely financial thinking so that our activities also support the community – that is, the wider society and environment that we operate in. We at GreenBox Australia base our concept of “how we like to do things” on the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) accounting framework. The TBL provides the fundamental three Ps – People, Planet and Profit. While we don’t have the total environmental solution – since 2014 GreenBox Australia has been bringing to market radically new and innovative changes to everyday food and beverage packaging products that we all know and utilise. The flagship product the GreenBox has been described as ‘genius’ and is pioneering the way in lower impact pizza packaging and sales from GreenBox products have contributed to charitably supporting Greenaid and the St Vincent De Paul Society. We support the local food model and Australian manufacturing by making our products in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland – closer to where you live than cheaper imported packaging. In many small ways we will continue to support our community and together with our customers live lightly in the “fragile shell” protecting our common earthly home.
