Over the past five years, we’ve built a strong B2C brand, earned the trust of thousands of customers, and created cakes for some incredible people and celebrations.

Today, we’re entering a new chapter. One built on partnerships, collaboration and shared growth.

From our partnership with Marriott Hotels in Sri Lanka to expanding into corporate gifting, events, wholesale distribution and hospitality, I see enormous opportunities for what we can achieve together.

But my vision goes beyond cakes.

I believe the right partnerships can open doors that we could never open alone.

Recently dined at The Big Fish Seafood Restaurant Weligama Bay Marriott Resort & Spa in Sri Lanka, and I was genuinely blown away by how incredibly fresh and flavourful the seafood was! 🦀🦐🐟

Sri Lanka is blessed with some of the most amazing seafood, and having travelled and dined in different parts of the world, I can confidently say there’s something truly special about the seafood back home. The freshness, the flavours and the way it’s prepared are simply unmatched! 🇱🇰❤️

Definitely a must-try when you visit Sri Lanka! If you love seafood as much as I do, this is one place you shouldn’t miss.

Cake mixing is more than just a tradition in Sri Lanka. It’s a beautiful celebration of our culture, heritage, and the magic of Christmas. ❤️🎄🇱🇰

There’s something so special about bringing everyone together to mix the fruits, spices, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brandy, then allowing everything to soak and mature for three months to develop that beautifully rich, deep flavour we all know and love.

We follow this same tradition in Melbourne at Food Voyageur, but what makes Sri Lanka so special is the ceremony, the people, and the beautiful heritage behind it.

It’s not just about making a Christmas cake. It’s about preserving a tradition that has been passed down through generations.

But this year was extra special for me. ❤️

I got to experience this beautiful tradition with my family by my side, making it a memory I will treasure forever. There’s something incredibly meaningful about coming back to your roots and sharing moments like these with the people you love.

And what made it even more memorable was celebrating it with Weligama Bay Marriott Resort & Spa , who truly brought this beautiful tradition to life in style! ✨

This also marks the beginning of what I believe will be a beautiful partnership between Food Voyageur and Marriott Weligama. There is so much more to come, and I cannot wait to share what we have been working on together. 🤍

From Melbourne to Sri Lanka, this journey is becoming more meaningful than I ever imagined.

Rachi from 5 years ago would be so proud of the woman she has become today. 🥹❤️

People look at my life now and call me lucky.

But what they don’t see is what it took to get here.

It wasn’t luck. It was 90% consistency, 10% believing in myself when everything around me gave me reasons not to.

It was showing up every single day, even when everything was falling apart.

It was the days I had to wipe away my tears, pick myself back up, put a smile on my face and show up in front of the camera like nothing had happened.

It was the sleepless nights, the silent battles, the sacrifices nobody saw and the moments I questioned whether I was good enough.

But I kept showing up.

Not because it was easy. Not because I had everything figured out. But because I refused to give up on the life I knew I was capable of building.

People see the success. They don’t see the version of you who had to survive to create it.

And if there’s one thing I’ve learnt over these five years, it’s that you don’t have to be the most talented, the smartest or the luckiest person in the room.

You just have to be willing to keep going when everyone else would have stopped.

Five years later, I’m still that same girl with big dreams. Except now, I’m living some of the things I once prayed for.

And the best part? I’m only getting started. ❤️

Remember when my husband thought the Jason Derulo cake order was a scam? 😂 Well, this is what happened next!

We made the cake, headed to the concert, and arrived with two passes we had no idea how to use. Turns out, they were BACKSTAGE PASSES! 😭🎤

We got to see behind the scenes, enjoy the catering, and watch the moment our cake made it onto the stage. 🥹🎂

All because I answered a phone call at 8 PM on a Sunday night!
