ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: The last but certainly not least of our incredibly talented artists of Under the Sea is David Lee Pereira and Sahil Roy!

🪼 David Lee Pereira is an artist whose paintings, illustrations, large-scale murals and public installations delve into the fluidity of gender and identity. Influenced by the work of impressionist and surrealist artists Georgia O’Keefe, Dali and Munch, David pays homage to still life where his floral expressions overflow with symbolism and narrative, ranging from beautifully brutal to joyous and intimate pieces.

David is the face behind the neon lit Jellyfish set amongst a murky forest of seaweed. Follow him at David Lee Pereira art.

🔷 Sahil Roy is an accomplished Melbourne based, multi-disciplinary artist widely regarded as an established talent amongst abstract expressionists. With over two decades as a graffiti artist, Roy's creative foundation has led him to develop a unique visual narrative and 'layering technique' that captures his observations of the temporary unifications of colour, shape, texture and form in compositions surrounding him. 🤯

Time for another spotlight on the wonderful artists of Under The Sea!

🦀 Chuck Mayfield is a Melbourne-based graffiti artist and visionary whose work can be described as vibrant, dark, and dreamy. Growing up in a family of artists, Chuck has been painting and drawing his whole life with earliest works dating back as young as 16! Since then, he has painted murals and exhibited work in cities across Australia, Asia, Europe and the US and aspires to continue to travel, push creative boundaries, and collaborate with other inspiring creators around the world.

Chuck is the artist behind our immersive, 'alien' like UV underwater haven which includes a glowing crab, mollusk, sea horse and more. Follow him at Chuck Mayfield.

💫 Maria-Rosa Szychowska is a Polish-French-Canadian mural artist who specializes in painting mesmerising, soul searching portraiture and underwater animals. Enabled by her unique 'visual poetry' style, her work transports viewers to a world where reality blends seamlessly with the magical (through light effects and vibrant colours) to evoke a wide range of emotions and inspire contemplation.

Maria is the artist behind our ethereal Manta Rays at Under The Sea and hopes that through her work, viewers are inspired to preserve and protect the delicate balance of our oceans and the magnificence of our universe. Follow her at Maria-Rosa Szychowska Portrait-Mural Artist

Six talented artists, one inspiring activation! We're thrilled to introduce you to two of the artists behind our wonderful Under The Sea experience: Melanie Caple Artist and Cax One

🐋 Melaine Caple is a recognised artist whose decade-long career spans a portfolio of exhibitions, Art Prize achievements and public murals across Victoria, NSW, and SA.

Melaine is the artist behind our beloved Orca Whales at Under The Sea and hopes that through her work, viewers feel a sense of awe and appreciation. 💙

🐙 Cax One is a contemporary artist whose street art skills have sent waves through to galleries, workshops, and events nationwide. Cax's work has gone viral on social media and featured in influential street art books including Inside Street Art.

Cax is the artist behind the anamorphic Octopus at Under The Sea and says it is a symbol of the mysteries that lie beneath the surface of our everyday lives.

A reminder to everyone who has booked: If you are unable to make your session please do the right thing and cancel your tickets through Eventbrite. We have SO many people requesting sessions on particular dates that are already fully booked. By cancelling your tickets, it allows other people to come along and enjoy the experience. Thank you 🙏🏻
