As we make our final preparations for next weekend's Northlands: Lanterns & Legends inaugural Medieval Fayre, we thought it was about time we unveiled our incredible menu!

You know we love a challenge, and this time we set ourselves one of our biggest yet. We wanted to create a menu that was as authentic to the medieval period as possible while celebrating the incredible produce of our own region.

Our goals were simple:

🛡️ Local ingredients with low food miles
🌾 Recipes inspired by the medieval era
🔥 Traditional methods and processes, enhanced with modern equipment
🍲 One-batch cooking to feed the village efficiently

The result is a menu we're incredibly proud of, showcasing some of the Mid West's finest local producers:

🎃 Horwood Road Pumpkin Soup
🦬 Howatharra Buffalo & Barley Broth
🍺 Batavia Brewing Stout Beef Stew
🐑 Strawberry Road Irish Lamb Stew

Every bowl tells a story of local farms, local makers and timeless flavours.

We can't wait to welcome you to the feast next weekend! ⚔️🏰🍲

Strawberry Road Lamb attended the Mid West Business Awards on Saturday night, and had an absolute hoot with friends and colleagues. Whilst we didn't come home with the chocolates this time, we are honoured to be among those nominated for Excellence in Food and Beverage Manufacturing.

We wish a big congratulations to our fellow nominees and award winners, and the best of luck for their future endeavours!

In other news, we are excited to be attending the Geraldton Farmers Market again! Some new batches of our lamb have been processed by our good friends at Gearings, who were also finalists in their category at the Business Excellence Awards, a well deserved nomination.

Come say g'day on Saturday, as we're very excited to be back after a brief hiatus! Chops, snags, roasts, all the usual frozen suspects will be available.

Strawberry Road Lamb are very proud to be nominated AND be a finalist for the Mid West Business Excellence Awards! We've come a long way, and to say we're excited is an understatement.

It's a busy time of year with Harvest well and truly in full swing, but if you find the time, those of you who have tried our product, please vote for us in the People's Choice Award! We've left a link below for your perusal.

In other news, our new season lambs will be hitting the shelves soon, with availability to be posted to our socials when ready. We also intend to attend a few Geraldton Farmers Market's soon, so keep an eye on our story in the coming weeks for that!

Happy Harvest, Drive Safe, and Thank You for your support!
