Squeezed in a couple of hours work today, fuelled by The Good Paddock iced latte.

Weeding, mulching, planting and netting some beds was on today's to do list along with setting up our watering system on a timer now that it is hot.

I am enjoying seeing some blooms out now and can't wait to get the rest of the seedlings planted out.

September babies get one of the most delicate little blooms… the aster 🌸

Symbolising:
• Love
• Wisdom
• Faith

Asters might look soft and simple, but they’re incredibly resilient — thriving even as the seasons begin to shift.

A quiet reminder that strength doesn’t have to be loud.

Tag a September baby 💕 or tell me — had you heard of asters before?

Hello August. The traditional birth flowers for August are Gladiolus and Poppy and I haven't grown either in a very long time so I think I need to rectify that soon. The Australian native birth flower for August is Correa which is also known as native fuschia, it's bell shaped flowers come in colours ranging from green and white, all the way through pinks to red and orange. Happy birth month to all the August babies out there.

Welcome to June and the start of Winter! 🌹 The Rose is our traditional birth flower for June representing love and gratitude along with Honeysuckle which symbolises pure happiness. "Hello May! 🤍 Winter is whispering at the gate. This month's birth flowers are represented by the delicate Lily of the Valley, symbolizing sweetness and a return to happiness and Hawthorn. Our native spotlight is on the Geraldton Waxflower. Geraldton Wax is an evergreen shrub with bright green foliage and star-shaped flowers that range from pastel pink to bright pink or white. Their small, stiff petals are what gives them the name ‘waxflower’ and what makes them so great in native cut flower bouquets .Time to mulch and settle in for the cool season. 🌿"

I'm not sure I have enough zinnia seed here for next season. Lucky I still have more to process.

I am hoping that at least some of this is viable seed. I am already planning my zinnia bed for spring. 💫

A little arrangement from some Amarillo blooms.

I can't wait until we are prodicing enough flowers to share with the world.
