Welcome to June and the start of Winter! 🌹 The Rose is our traditional birth flower for June representing love and gratitude along with Honeysuckle which symbolises pure happiness. The native birth flower for June is Hardenbergia, commonly known as Happy Wanderer. May the frost gods be kind to the garden this month.

"Hello May! 🤍 Winter is whispering at the gate. This month's birth flowers are represented by the delicate Lily of the Valley, symbolizing sweetness and a return to happiness and Hawthorn. Our native spotlight is on the Geraldton Waxflower. Geraldton Wax is an evergreen shrub with bright green foliage and star-shaped flowers that range from pastel pink to bright pink or white. Their small, stiff petals are what gives them the name ‘waxflower’ and what makes them so great in native cut flower bouquets .Time to mulch and settle in for the cool season. 🌿"

I'm not sure I have enough zinnia seed here for next season. Lucky I still have more to process.

I am hoping that at least some of this is viable seed. I am already planning my zinnia bed for spring. 💫
