Cold Drip Coffee

Cold drip is a method of brewing coffee using cold water and plenty of time.

Pure filtered water, kept chilled, is very slowly added to the coffee over 10 hours. The fresh water slowly flows through the coffee gently extracting the flavour and caffeine.

With the cold drip process the coffee grounds are never soaking in their own extract, instead fresh water is slowly but continuously flowing past.

This cold process draws out fewer bitter and acidic from the coffee bean than hot methods such as espresso, giving cold drip coffee a lighter more floral flavour and minimising bitterness.
