Hi everyone,

I thought I’d do a post to introduce myself. I am Lucy O’Brien, and I have just started my own egg business, taking on the name 12 Good Eggs Barham. As Kate previously said, my chooks are free ranging in the paddock where 12 Good Eggs once started. The chooks sleep in old caravans and buses and are protected by my maremma dogs, Ernie and Chase.

If you try these eggs, you won’t be disappointed. They have a rich yellow yolk and have a white that holds well together and they are just the way 12 Good Eggs use to taste.

I can’t wait to share my egg news with you all along the way. Thank you in advance for your support 🐓 🥚

You might notice this page becoming active again.

We (Kate and Kerri) finished with 12 Good Eggs about two years ago, but a local woman, Lucy O'Brien, has since started her own egg business and will be taking over the name and this page.

Her business is very similar to what ours was, and her lucky hens are free-ranging near the Murray River on the same farm we once used.

We wish her all the best — keep an eye out for her updates!

Happy Friday

It’s been some time since we sold 12 Good Eggs and posted anything on this page.

I just wanted to share with you something I have been working on over the last couple of months.

Feast, forest, farm – an event to showcase this region. If you are looking for a couple of days away exploring our part of the Murray river, here is the perfect opportunity. Local produce, forest tours, farm tours, paddlesteamer tours…..
