Our resident Kangaroo (better known as Roo Roo) would like you to know that we have Saturday and Sunday and the Dark Hedges IPA is back on tap. Our collab with Mudgee Stout is still available - limited stock. Damon from Nomad Kravings is back and cooking up stew. The fire pits have been lit and the drinks are flowing. We close at 4pm today and reopen Saturday at 12pm and Sunday at 11am. On ya mate!

It’s that time of the year where you’ve forgotten again to make a booking at the pub or that nice restaurant out of town, now it’s booked out and you want to do something nice for the mumma figure in your life but it just comes around so fast. Fret not - will be cooking up their tasty Birra Tacos along with a special Hibiscus Margaritas. We will also have fresh bunches of flowers available. Open from 12pm on Saturday to pick up last minute gifts of candles, gin, vodka or wine including the brand new 2025 Rosé. Wanna keep in the good books - pop out from 12-ish on Sunday

Thinking of lunch over the weekend? Well Nomad Kravings will be serving up their tried and tested burgers and tacos on Saturday and Sunday from 12.30-ish tomorrow. Pair that with a brew from the taps, local small wines, a gin or whisky or a fancy soda. We have it all!

Was wonderful to welcome Dave and Sandra (I’m sure that’s the names!☺️) This team have cycled from Tassie to Mudgee and will continue on to redder pastures! Make sure you say hello if you bump into them! I encouraged them to stay longer for the Mudgee Classic!

CLOSED ANZAC DAY - when you visit Clover Cellars, you see the Irish stuff but the there’s a few naval things floating around too. We even called our spirits range and that’s because our Head Brewer and co-owner Dave has been Petty Officer David Henderson of the Royal Australian & British Navies for 29 years. What’s the craic this week at Clover Cellars?

* Our Sunday Food Pop up is Alma by Ashley, serving up delicious proper tacos from 12pm-ish
* Good classic beers on tap - no silly names or bu****it
* Pink Lemonade is this weeks seasonal soda from Ivy’s Garden Soda
* Stocks of River Foyle Irish style whisky is dwindling quickly. Only a few bottles left - once they’re gone, we can’t make more
* New wine on the list is 2024 TOPO Reserve Shiraz Cabernet - it’s a cracker!
* Tomato & Zucchini Relish is available as well as relishes from Drunken Sailor including Whisky Piccalilli & Beetroot & Gin Relish
* We have a new range of candles with scents of the Australian Bush, Irish Linen and Winter Sea
* Mudgee Beer School is back on Sunday 3rd May and this time we are at Mudgee Brewery! This special Beer School will take you through our commercial beer making processes with those big tanks in there, tasting and brewers lunch. Tickets very limited, keep an eye out for this one!
Autumn is here with cooler nights and sunny days. So pop in, grab a tipple and enjoy our beautiful sprawling lawns, autumn colours on our mature trees & grapevine around the verandah. Slaínte!

Last weekend was the annual Easter Rubber Ducky Races and what a race it was! Held on the sprawling banks of Clover Island, it’s was one for the history books as the winners swum a great race in this prestigious event. Thank you to everyone that came out and congratulations to the winners!
