Dinner 🥘
Chicken Teriyaki (skinnymixers)

Wow! This was so delicious, I can’t believe it took me so long to cook it.
Got home from kids sport and whipped this out. Cooking time 15 mins 😱
And even better the broccoli and snow peas were from the garden 🙌🏼

Today I steamed some chicken pieces to shred for rolls and toasties at a home game of footy this weekend. 3x breasts took 30 mins and a bonus was I got chicken stock as an added extra. I shredded the chicken pieces after it had finished cooking and will be al good on for Saturday.

Also made skinnymixers buttery garlic noodles from Dinners 4 (I subbed wombok cabbage for red cabbage as that’s all I had) to have alongside some left over silverside as we are only down to three for dinner this week so I didn’t feel like making a whole new meal 😂

Tonight’s Dinner!

I got home at almost 6.30pm tonight after spending 3 hours at bounce with some friends to cook dinner.

On the menu - Quick and Easy Pork Noodles and the name suggests it all, it is quick and it is easy!
Dinner was on the table by 7pm 👏🏼🙌🏼
I probably could have ordered in as we got home late but I didn’t feel like spending almost $100 from Uber Eats 😂

Instead I had already packed what I had in my pantry from home and ducked to Cole’s yesterday to grab a few things. Total spend for this meal was $21.60 (I didn’t count items I already had)

Some of my cookings from today.
Made potato and leek soup (before bus drop) for the kids for a thermos for lunch at school today cause it was cold this morning and while that cooked I made some buttercream icing for some chocolate muffins I had stashed in the freezer - perfect for lunchboxes today also.
Fried Rice with Skinnymixers Garlic Parmesan Wings (Dinners 4 cookbook) - wings were delicious👌🏼

When you are on the lunch shift for mulesing today!
3x thermos used.
2x batches potato and leek soup
1x batch of cheesy triangle scones.
Lucky to get the pics I got as it was inhaled pretty quickly.

Kids didn’t eat some of their mandarins over the last few days and somehow I had 1/4 of an orange in the fridge. So I turned them all into a cake 😂. I used the 30second orange cake for the win!
Will ice with an orange cream cheese icing later but for now will store in the freezer.

Came in from the garden at 5.20pm. Got dinner on and we were sitting down for dinner at 6.15pm.
I love this stirfry, can add what ever veg you want and cooks the rice at the same time 🙌🏼

Archie and I also made laminations today. Bit fiddly but we got there is the end. They tasted pretty good too!

Tonight’s dinner.
Focaccia (half tomato half rosemary and salt - my children don’t like tomato 😂)
Mushroom Risotto - didn’t have enough mushrooms so added peas to make up the weight that was meant to be mushrooms, roasted some pumpkin that needed using and tossed through at the end.

Mushroom risotto was my TM31 demo dish back in 2009. It’s still on the demo list of dishes as it’s such a winner and risotto wouldn’t have been a dish I would have tried without a Thermomix!
