What a fantastic day out at Taroom yesterday.
We were invited out to the Bonox Brangus Stud by Bruce and Leanne Woodard. What an absolute opportunity to see one of the leading Brangus Studs up close and personal.
What we actually experienced was some of the most beautiful, generous and humble people you could ever strike.
Bruce was so generous with his time and knowledge. We found the time just slipping away, mesmerised and trying to absorb every word.
When we went in for Smoko and Lunch, we met the lovely Leanne and Breanna. Both were again generous with their time, making us feel not just welcome but enhancing Bruce's knowledge with contributions and admin input( and the food 😋).
By the end of the day, Bruce had not only shared his home, property and beautiful family ( also met the boys and some Gkids). He then offered us an astounding deal to own the pick of his young weaner heifers , to help our little show team recover from a recent setback.
None of this would have been possible without the introductions and support of Jason Beckman from Rockyview Brangus and Jay Hampson from Sunshine Brangus who we met at the Bling sale.
I will end by saying that my family and I feel very humbled by the support we have received from the Brangus community. From people like Mark and Linda Bauer, who have helped us SO, SO much, and we can never repay. Jayne and Nick at 3 hearts, Kayla Preston in the office and many many more that have chipped in along the way.
We thank you all and feel blessed to count many now as friends 🐮🖤.

A great morning watching this young heifer get around in the ring.
She is almost ready to give up the ring to start her let down into her first calf, an AI to another show winner, Elara Black Hawk.
Was also fantastic to catch up with Jason from Rockyview Brangus who also had a very successful morning 👍

An amazing result from the Clifton show! Our heifers won junior and senior champion. A massive thank you to Downlands College, and especially to Tameka Dyne and Ben Patterson for their brilliant presentation of our girls! We are honoured to encourage the next generation of cattle men and women.
