Tower Hill Picnic Amateur Race Club Tower Hill Picnic Race Club is home to one of the greatest grass fed race meets in central West Queensland. Welcome to the Tower Hill Picnic Amateur Race Club!!

Located on Hillview Station, 40km from Muttaburra in Outback Qld. Come along for an action-packed weekend of racing on the weekend in 2022 - dates TBC. Tower Hill is a grass-fed picnic race meeting located on "Hillview", 40km North West of Muttaburra. They say good things come in small packages and for a small race meeting we have a lot to offer. These include:

- Two days of grass fed horse raci

- Calcuttas, raffles & members draw
- Fashions of the field for all ages
- Licensed bar and live band
- Closest to the pin golf & other activities (prizes to be won)
- Boat races
- Foot races
- Entertainment for children
- Bachelor Auctions

Don't worry about the thought of camping in the outback, we have great shower and toilet facilities, powered camp sites & catering for every meal. 🚘 VARIETY BASH VISITS TOWER HILL 🚘

Tower Hill welcomed some special visitors to the club on the weekend. We were absolutely thrilled to welcome more than 300 Variety Bashers to the club, with the mammoth task of catering for 300 hungry guests! It was wonderful to see the club buzzing with so many incredible people, colourful vehicles and plenty of smiles.

As most of you are aware, THPARC had the difficult decision of cancelling the 2026 Race Meet due to weather. When this fundraising opportunity presented its self, of course THPARC jumped on board. The club is extremely grateful for everyone who helped make this fundraiser for our club a memorable day.

A huge thank you to Variety Bash for including THPARC in this year’s Bash. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a fantastic event and to meet the amazing people who give their time and energy to support such a wonderful cause.

Our THPARC team did an incredible job preparing and serving meals for such a huge crowd, and we couldn’t be prouder of everyone who pitched in to make the day run so smoothly. Feeding 300 people is no small feat!

It was a fantastic weekend filled with great people, great food and plenty of community spirit. We’re so grateful to everyone who helped make the visit such a memorable one.

The Tower Hill 200 $10,000 prize has been WON!

💰In an extremely special moment, the draw was conducted yesterday afternoon and the prizemoney is spoken for!

Congratulations to our former THPARC committee member Sharley McGovern, who was our secretary up until last year! This is such a fitting win because Sharley has done so much for our club and continues to be a great supporter of Tower Hill.

Sharley was present at the draw, and is pictured with 2026 Tower Hill 200 organiser Donna Sheales, who has done a huge volume of work for the club this year.

Today at the Tower Hill Racetrack , we came together to commemorate Anzac Day with a heartfelt service at the track.

We pause to remember and honour the bravery, sacrifice, and spirit of all those who have served our country.

In a place where the connection between people and horses runs deep, we also acknowledge the important role horses have played in military history—standing alongside soldiers with courage and loyalty.

A sincere thank you to our committee, students, and community supporters who attended and helped make today’s service so meaningful. Your presence and respect ensured we honoured this important day with dignity.

📣 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT - TOWER HILL RACES CANCELLED📣

Due to recent rainfall, Tower Hill Picnic Amateur Race Club has made the difficult decision to cancel the races scheduled for next weekend. This was a difficult decision made by the club; however, the safety of the horses and trainers was at the forefront of the committee's mind.

On Saturday, 25th April at 2pm, we will be live-streaming the draw of the Tower Hill 200. There are only a few tickets left, so be sure to grab one of the last ones!

We appreciate your understanding and continued support. We offer our sincere thanks to our sponsors, vendors, trainers and other volunteers.
