Loved making this custon piece for my walnut wood loving client, who had some beautiful off cuts and was keen to have them transformed into a wooden christmas tree 🌲
An amazing material to work with and, once oiled, the unique colour truly pops.
The pieces come apart for easy storage.

Nothing beats bringing something back rather than replacing it. Solid wood can last a lifetime time.

Stripping back years of weathering, it was such a nice surprise to see the natural timber underneath come back to life, with all these different colours and grains showing through that had been hiding beneath.

Found these at the fabulous Bower Reuse & Recycling Centre — a vintage pipe wrench with decades of grease in its bones, and a pair of mortise chisels that have clearly earned their keep.
We love working with things that aren't new. No plastics, just honest tools. A bit of love and they're back in the workshop doing what they do best.

Dressing a board by hand and the room fills with beautiful little ribbons as a reward. 💫💫

Slow craft. The treasure is as much in the process as it is in the result.

Thoroughly enjoyed making this little wooden bowl. Thank you Stuart at for sharing your skills and space.
