Our new arrival making an appearance yesterday. This scrumptious young fella is Viceroy. Aka “Roy”. 🖤

We recently attended the Dunlop Park bull sale. Originally just calling in for a look but after seeing the temperaments of these young bulls I couldn’t pass it up. These young bulls couldn’t have chewed their cuds any harder.
Though Roy won’t get the chance to service the stud females as we have such a successful AI conception rate. He will be utilised across the commercial herd! Really looking forward to seeing what he can do for the coming season!

I have a small number of frozen, A grade embryos sired by Haller-Fex (PP) up for consideration.

Directly out of the females utilised in my herd 🧡

Shalni Park Penny (Horned)
Shiprocks Winnie (Horned)
Shalni Park Vera (Polled)

A selection of these embryos will be placed into recip cows this May. Cows carrying embryos are also up for consideration - eliminating the guess work surrounding implantation.

Mocha has had a beautiful KO Teleporter bull. Lots of leg under this little fella. Looking forward to watching him grow out. 🥰❤️

For those who don’t know, I was put into hospital by a mumma cow a few years back so until I get to know these new ladies a little better, it’s a good look through the binos or from behind a fence 😂
My nerves are not what they used to be.😬🫣

Flashy EBVs mean nothing if the bull breaks down after one season. Feet, legs, and structural correctness determine working lifespan. A bull that physically can't cover cows wastes money regardless of genetic merit. Look at the whole animal, not just the numbers on paper.

Picked up Miss Winnie and baby Zeus ready for Bushy park show this weekend.

Zero show prep for these two. They will be presented in paddock condition and I must say I’m pretty pleased with how they are looking at 16 days post calving.
