Sunshine! It’s a nice change from all the rain we’ve had (not complaining!). Rob and I divided and conquered today. Rob on the mower, me on the wipper snipper 💪🏻. The grass has grown about 2 feet in 2 weeks!

I’m so incredibly excited and proud to see Mum’s book nominated for not one but two awards at this years NSW Premier's Literary Awards !

Mum originally wrote the book for family to keep the family history alive for the future generations. It’s a testament to her writing and what my ancestors went through to be able to provide us all a better life ❤️

What a sad day. RIP Queen Elizabeth 💔

Phillip came to me today,
and said it was time to go.
I looked at him and smiled,
as i whispered that "I know"

I then turned and looked behind me,
and seen I was asleep.
All my Family were around me,
and I could hear them weep.

I gently touched each shoulder,
with Phillip by my side.
Then I turned away and walked,
with My Angel guide.

Phillip held my hand,
as he lead the way,
to a world where King's and Queens,
are Monarch's every day.

I was given a crown to wear
or a Halo known by some.
The difference is up here,
they are worn by everyone.

I felt a sense of peace,
my reign had seen its end.
70 years I had served my Country,
as the peoples friend.

Thank you for the years,
for all your time and love.
Now I am one of two again,
in our Palace up above.

Tonight we had a relatively plain risotto (garlic, onion, white wine, grana padano) and a truck load of grated and sliced truffle. Bellissimo! Tatiana Coulter

Congratulations Mum! Even though I’m familiar with the family history, I found Mum’s book such a compelling read.

I’m so incredibly proud of for putting pen to paper to publish such a beautifully written book. Even more proud to be part of this story and legacy.

It’s filled with heartache, tears, joy, laughter, history but most of all many memories of those who are no longer here who made it all possible.

From escaping Communism in Russia, to growing up in China, Brazil and finally ending up in Australia. What a journey!

Do yourself a favour and have a read for yourself! I’ll happily take mum out for book signing 😜
