This time last year I was in Papua New Guinea, walking the Kokoda Track and standing dawn in Bomana War Cemetery.

Row after row of Australians who never made it home.
Young blokes who fought in some of the toughest conditions imaginable.

But what stayed with me just as much was the people.

The locals along the track — their kindness, their energy, their connection to this history.
It reminds you the Kokoda story isn’t just ours.

It’s shared.

ANZAC Day is about sacrifice, mateship and resilience.
Something that still shapes who we are.

We’ll be taking a moment to reflect this weekend.
Closed Saturday for Anzac Day and Monday for the public holiday, open Sunday as usual
