You would never eat something you know has plastic in it.

Yet many of us drink from paper cups every day without realising they are lined with a thin layer of plastic. That lining is what keeps the cup from leaking, but it also makes most paper cups difficult to recycle through standard paper recycling and means they would not break down like paper on its own.

We thought there had to be a better way.

Edible Cups are made to hold your drink and then become part of the experience instead of becoming waste.

Sometimes the best way to reduce waste is not to manage it better. It's to stop creating it in the first place.

This Plastic Free July, get free Edible Spoons exclusively on Foody Bag

Every Wednesday this July, we are giving a free pack of 10 edible spoons from Edible Cutlery on Foody Bag. Edible Cutlery makes fully edible, functional, and zero-waste alternatives to single-use plastic cutlery.

Every year, tonnes of single-use plastic cutlery end up polluting our oceans and landfills. This July, we want to make it easy for you to choose differently.

Available every Wednesday this July from 10am to 4pm when you order through Foody Bag.

Offer valid only for the Osborne Park store and only one free pack of 10 per customer.

Thanks to the Convenience World Magazine for featuring our new Edible Cups.

Australia alone still uses over a billion single-use coffee cups that end up in landfill and even the so called "compostable" cups are often not home compostable or in the best case scenario still need resources and labour to divert them.

That's exactly why we created Edible Cups.

As a reminder, our first batch of Edible Cups sold out within two weeks of launch. We are about a month away from being restocked, but it has been incredibly encouraging to hear the positive feedback from customers and see pre-orders already coming through.

We are in Melbourne this week for the .live (great to see City of Melbourne supporting such events). You can find us at Stand S13, where we will have a limited number of Edible Cups available to sample.

Come and say hello, or express your interest online at [email protected]
