What does Marnka mean?

Marnka is the Arabana word for abundance — the idea of having more than enough.

But for us, abundance is about more than having more.

It is about knowing what is enough.
Sharing what we have.
Giving back.
And remembering where everything begins.

Country.

At the heart of Marnka & Co. is Wadhlu — Country. It is why Wadhlu sits at the centre of our range, and why connection to Country remains at the centre of what we do.

Meet Christine — founder of Marnka & Co.

For Christine, Marnka & Co. is about more than creating great coffee. It is about building something that reflects her connection to Arabana Country, her story, and the importance of bringing people together.

What began as an idea has grown into a carefully developed range of five distinctive coffee blends, each created with its own character and story.

Behind the finished bags you saw at Connect 2026 has been an enormous amount of work — tasting, refining, designing, planning and preparing Marnka & Co. to take its place in the Australian coffee market.

For those who had the chance to meet Christine at Connect 2026, thank you for the warmth, encouragement and genuine interest you showed in what she has created.

And if you're only just discovering Marnka & Co., this is just the beginning.

Over the coming weeks, we'll share more of Christine's story, what sits behind the Marnka & Co. name, and introduce you properly to each of our coffees.

That's a wrap on Supply Nation Connect 2026! ☕

What a privilege for Marnka & Co. to stand alongside so many incredible Indigenous businesses at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.

In one big day, our booth poured cup after cup and shared the stories behind our five signature blends — Maka, Ukarai, Wadhlu, Kutha and Waangara — each carrying Arabana language into everyday spaces. Watching people pause mid-conversation after their first sip never gets old.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to sample our coffee and a yarn, and big gratitude to Geoff, Rob and Sheena for holding down the booth so beautifully, and Supply Nation thank you for creating a space where Indigenous businesses connect, grow and thrive together.
