Say hello to our September flight - you’ll love this month’s picks…

Headlands Distilling Co Musket Cask - this expression began in a Four Roses bourbon cask, before spending another year in French oak seasoned with 15-year-old Seppeltsfield Rare Muscat. The result is a whisky with serious international recognition that keeps the Muscat influence firmly in balance.

Roam Distillery Rum Cask - a young whisky with a distinctly tropical dimension. Rich & approachable, with caramel & vanilla sitting alongside ripe tropical fruit & gentle oak spice.

North Star Spirits Glen Garioch 8-Year-Old 2014 - this North Star bottling captures the spirit aged eight years, giving it plenty of youthful energy, while an Oloroso finish adds another layer of fruit & richness. Only 260 bottles were produced, making this a particularly neat independent bottling.

August Bottle of the Month | Killara Distillery KD97 Dark M**o - a little unusual, very Tasmanian & thoroughly moreish.

We're continuing this month's celebration of Tasmanian whisky with Killara's latest Dark M**o release - a whisky that's rich, smooth & seriously good.

This whisky began its life in an Australian rum cask, before swapping places with last year's Dark M**o release & finishing in its PX cask.

Expect dried fruits, sultanas & vanilla, with rich sherry sweetness & a hint of rum spice on the nose, with a syrupy & smooth finish.
