What happens when a catering giant and an Aboriginal fresh produce supplier back each other in for the long haul?

You get this: the 2025 Supply Nation Supplier Diversity Partnership of the Year Award πŸ†

Djinda Produce and Cater Care Group have been recognised for a partnership built on shared values of sustainability, ethical sourcing and Indigenous empowerment πŸ™Œ

From our first order together to supplying sites right across WA, it's been more than business. It's been about creating opportunities, backing community and setting a new standard for what partnerships can achieve.

David Austin travelled across the country to represent Djinda and join the Cater Care team at the International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) in Sydney. A big thank you to Cater Care for believing in us since day one and to Supply Nation for shining a light on what true collaboration looks like.

Supplying the next generation starts with what's on their plate 🍎 🍐

A big thanks to Prendiville Catholic College and Mater Dei College for choosing to support a 100% Aboriginal-owned company like Djinda Produce.

Did you know we're registered to supply fresh fruit and veg to Catholic schools across WA? That means more kids have access to high-quality, local produce that fuels their health, helps them focus and keeps both brain and body in the best state to learn 😊

We're proud to play our part in shaping healthy habits that last a lifetime.

As fresh online as the produce we supply πŸ’» πŸ₯¦

Check out National Indigenous Times featuring our Warehouse Team Leader, Cleave Narkle, a proud Noongar man, mentor and all-round Djinda legend.

From early starts in the warehouse to get fresh food out to mine sites across WA, Cleave shows what leadership looks like in hi-vis.

Thanks to our partners at Sodexo for being part of the journey πŸ™Œ

Mining is no small operation, and neither is feeding its hardworking crews. At Djinda Produce, we partner with mining companies and their onsite catering teams to supply high-quality, in-season fruit and veg tailored to their needs ☺️

Our long-standing partnership with Mineral Resources Limited showcases this commitment. Renowned for raising the bar in mining industry catering, they serve exceptional food, from a la carte menus to buffet spreads, all centred on fresh, seasonal produce πŸ₯¬ πŸ… 🍽️

Djinda works closely with Mineral Resources Limited to ensure fresh ingredients reach even the most remote sites. Whether it's ready-to-use prepped ingredients or whole foods, our ethical sourcing practices and reliable logistics mean their team enjoys meals that fuel their efforts in the field.

For nearly a decade, Mineral Resources' support has helped shape who we are today. For that alone, we are grateful and look forward to many years ahead, supplying this fantastic organisation and continuing to work closely with the people within 😊

We've delivered to plenty of health sites, but this time we brought the story behind the box.

We spent the morning at the East Metropolitan Health Service's first-ever Aboriginal Business Expo, connecting with other Indigenous businesses and the teams behind WA's health services.

From Reverend Mitchell Garlett's Welcome to Country to hearing stories from local business owners doing incredible things, it was a chance to have real conversations that matter.

Phil Matera was on hand to share the Djinda Produce journey and how we're supporting health sites across the state with fresh local produce as a CUA-approved supplier to the WA Government.

Thanks to EMHS for making space for these conversations and helping create more opportunities for Aboriginal-led businesses like ours πŸ™

Looking forward to what's next 😊

You will want to get your hands on these. Mushrooms are in season...firm, earthy and full of flavour πŸ„β€πŸŸ«

Beyond taste, they bring a serious nutritional punch. We're talking antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and prebiotics that support heart health, enhance your immunity, improve brain function and reduce inflammation 😊

At Djinda Produce, we work with trusted WA growers to deliver premium-grade mushrooms. Harvested fresh. Delivered fast.

We're proud to play a small part in a much bigger mission, helping OzHarvest feed Western Australians doing it tough. Each week, they deliver to more than 300 charities and schools across the Perth and Peel regions 🚚

A big thanks to the OzHarvest team for the work you do every day to fulfil your purpose to 'Nourish our Country'. We’re honoured to be alongside you. You can count on our continued support πŸ™Œ

Time tells a good story... this one's ten years strong.

From a five-person team with big dreams to a 100% Aboriginal-owned business, Djinda Produce wouldn't be where it is today without the backing of our very first partner, Cater Care.

This video captures the heart of our 10-year journey together. Hit play and take a look at what a decade of shared values, trust and vision can grow into πŸ“½οΈ

Thank you to the entire Cater Care team for believing in us from day one πŸ™

We got the team together for lunch last week to celebrate NAIDOC Week. It was a chance to slow down, share a meal and reflect on what this week means to us at Djinda.

As a 100% Aboriginal-owned business, NAIDOC Week is a time to celebrate culture, honour the past and keep building a better future together. We're proud of our roots and the people who make Djinda what it is.

NAIDOC Week is here. As a proudly 100% Aboriginal-owned business, Djinda Produce is grounded in connection to land, to people and to purpose.

NAIDOC Week gives all Australians a chance to reflect, learn and celebrate the world's oldest living cultures. For us, it's also a moment to honour the stories that have shaped our journey and the many hands and communities that keep it moving forward 🀝

Whether you're attending a local event, starting a conversation in your workplace or sourcing from Indigenous businesses, this week is all about recognition and respect.

Let's keep growing, together 😊
