One week until cake club is back with our WINTER theme on Thu 6 June.

Cake club is on 6-8pm in Inspiration Space in Inglewood. We’re a friendly bunch, come along with your dessert to enjoy a fun, sugar filled night!

You can purchase a ticket for the night or join with a 12 month membership. The choice is yours!

The June Cake Lovers Club meet is on Thursday 4 June in Inglewood 6-8pm

The theme this month is ‘Winter’. Think apple pie, sticky date or anything you associate with a winter dessert!

The concept for Cake club is simple. Bake/make/create any dessert that matches the theme. Come along with your dessert to our low key evenings and eye off all the desserts. Once we’ve introduced them all you can taste as many as you like! Make sure to bring a container for the leftovers 😉

Priyanka whipped up two ingredient lemon bars
Kristina baked a recipe tin eats lemon loaf cake
Sharon made chunky lemon curd and white chocolate cookies
Catie baked a vanilla sunflower with sunflower seeds

Pineapple was our top flavour of the night, by a mile!! Here’s all our treats:

Karen made a pineapple and coconut cake from the women’s weekly book
Reece made gorgeous cupcakes with passionfruit curd and freeze dried pineapple icing
Treena whipped up pineapple cheeesecake bars
Sharon and Emma both made pineapple upside down cakes
Lynda made a pineapple cake slash pudding!

A wonderful night for our yellow theme May event, raising funds for

Besides loving seeing what everyone made and tasting the treats, what makes these nights for me is everyone pitching in to help out. From stacking chairs and plates and the quiet tidying up, it makes a huge difference to this feeling like a real club for the people, by the people. THANK YOU!

🫖 It’s on this week!! 🫖

Last call for our May cake club meet! Join us this Thursday night 6-8pm for our YELLOW theme bake off.

Bring something that fits the theme and we’ll all ooh and ahhh as we devour with our eyes, and then make our selections!

There will be games to play, a small donation to pay, with all game donations directly going to Cancer Council via our unique QR code.

Dont forget to bring a container for leftovers!!

It’s still over a week to go for our May cake club!!

And it’s shaping up to be a bloody ripper. The games are prepped, the numbers are growing and you have extra time to prepare for our YELLOW fundraiser for Cancer Council.

Bring a plate of desserts to share, baking anything that fits the theme of yellow. We’ll introduce the desserts, find out what everyone made and the dive in to try what you like.

There’s optional games to join in (pay per entry) with all proceeds to Cancer Council. This is a registered Biggest Morning Tea event. It runs Thu 7 May 6-8pm in Inglewood
