In Sydney, join us this Saturday 6 June at for Cult & Classic, a massive party in collaboration with P&V Wine + Liquor and Vivid. On Sunday 7 June, we will be at for Oysters in the House.

Move over, King Charles. There is a new celebration in NSW this June, and it comes with a lot more Shiraz. Next week, our owner and chief winemaker, Mike De Iuliis, hits the ultimate vintage: his 50th birthday. Since it lines up perfectly with the King’s Birthday Long Weekend, a single weekend won’t cut it. We are officially declaring the entirety of June as Mike’s birthday month.

For those new to our community, Mike is the driving force behind the bottles you love. After completing his postgraduate oenology studies at Roseworthy, he took the reins of his family’s 1990s vineyards and transformed De Iuliis into the award-winning, five-star winery it is today.

Known for his quick wit, new love of run club and championing modern Hunter Valley Semillon and Shiraz, Mike has spent decades perfecting his craft and earning top winemaker accolades.

If there’s a job to be done at De Iuliis, Jade has it covered. With nearly a decade of experience as a Cellar Door Manager and Assistant Winemaker, she is a true powerhouse in the industry. A WSET Level 3 graduate and RAS Foundation Scholarship winner, Jade also lends her palate as a judge for the Hunter Valley Boutique Wine Show.

While she loves working with our premium fruit, Jade admits her favourite teammates are actually our winery dogs, Lucy and Juniper! She thrives in our supportive environment, where the team constantly encourages her to tackle new challenges and “be brave.”

Outside the winery, Jade is a pillar of the local netball community, coaching two teams and preparing for her own return to the court. At home, she’s a devoted dog mum to her 10-year-old puppy Odin. 🐾

We’re so lucky to have Jade’s expertise and vibrant energy at De Iuliis.

Meet the woman who keeps our numbers in check and our sweet tooth satisfied: Larissa, our Accounts Guru.

Before joining the De Iuliis family, Larissa spent her days in the world of mechanics, so being at De Iuliis since 2025 has been a massive (and welcome!) shift from engines and gears to grapes and glass. She’ll be the first to tell you that our vibrant team energy makes every kilometre of her daily commute worth it.

When she isn’t balancing the books, Larissa is busy balancing the beautiful chaos of motherhood—mostly focused on keeping the kids alive and getting them exactly where they need to be on time!

In those rare, quiet moments of spare time, she’s a master in the kitchen. She bakes the legendary treats that the rest of the team are constantly lining up for. We’re so lucky to have Larissa’s sharp eye for detail and her even sharper baking skills keeping us going.
