Our new Hunter Valley Wild Flora is a single-harvest raw honey, created from the incredible diversity of flowering plants across the Hunter Valley.

Rather than focusing on one dominant floral source, this honey captures the wild character of the Valley itself, a beautiful expression of the season, the landscape and the thousands of flowers our bees visit along the way.

Every harvest is different. Every jar tells a story.

Have you ever wondered what goes on inside a buzzing, thriving honeybee colony? Skip the textbooks and step right into the apiary. Our 2 hour hands-on Beekeeping Experience invites you to suit up, light the smoker, and look directly into the golden, secret world of the hive alongside Mike our Beekeeper.

Whether you are a curious nature lover, an aspiring backyard keeper, or looking for an unforgettable weekend adventure, this is your chance to discover the magic of bees safely.

Before we start, you’ll sip a refreshing, seasonal honey-infused beverage while we explore the incredible dynamics of the Apiary. We will get you completely suited up in professional protective gear and run through a comprehensive safety briefing.

Together, we will gently open a bustling hive. You will hold frames heavy with fresh honey, identify pollen stores, spot developing larvae, and hunt for the elusive Queen Bee. Keep your phone handy, this is the ultimate photo opportunity! You’ll also harvest some comb honey for you to take home with you.

After you close the hive you’ll step out of your suit and give your senses a treat. We will host a curated tasting of our seasonal single-origin harvests and discover how local blossoms completely transform the color, texture, and flavor profile of raw honey pairing this with a beautiful locally sourced cheese platter.

This boutique experience is limited to up to 4 and is available at our apiary in Pokolbin. Bookings are essential.
