So on the Weekend I had a Brilliant Show At Quorn Alcultral Show.
Came Home With:
Champion Hen With Mashmellow My Leghorn. Im in the Transcontinental News Paper today With her. I was Waiting for it to be Realised to post. Lol
Best in Show With My Bantam Transvainan Naked Neck Pullet.
I also won Some Prize Money $25 think it was.
Plus My Birds Where Voted best In Show By the Public & I Won a Night for 2 Voucher to stay at Quorn Valued at $155. Plus a bunch of 1sts, 2nds & 3rds for placing in their Classes.
I took mum for a Drive aswell. She showed her birds Aswell.
We Couldn't Take all The birds we wanted to due to Space in the car. But took what we could. I had a load more I wanted to take. But didnt have enough room. It was hard getting them ready this time. As I wasnt well all week before the show. But managed to pull it together.
I really hope the Public Enjoyed my KFC Variety Bucket. As I took as many different breeds as I could. So they could see the different things.
Sadly This is my Last Show For a While. All the Birds Are now Away in ther Secure Pens. So went out with a bang. As this is trying times with Bird Flu Crisis. Hopefully That all Works Threw & We Dont Get affected to hard. As I finally have all the breeds & Birds I wanted for my Line Breeding. I hope we can Return to some Showing next season. But only time will tell. As have to protect the flock.
As hard as it was for me to do it. I really Enjoyed it. Meet some lovely people so far aswell. 🫶💙😊 So this is unsure times for all the Exhibition & Farming Community. Keep your Birds safe & Practice Good Bio Security. I have some more small wire to put on the last lot of my new pens to keep my Birds safe. Which dont want the yucky wild birds in anyway. As they Carry Diseases & Mites n Worms. My Grandpa Spackman would always say that they are yucky & Carry Diseases. I need to protect what I have worked so Hard to get. Lol like a mother Hen.
