Marinated and grilled chicken with salted cabbage, β€˜s koroit kim chi, gochujang kewpie & fried shallots, on a crusty bun.

In our quest to bring the food we love from around the world to Port Fairy - we have INDIAN TAKE HOME DINNERS available this weekend.

James is obsessed with Indian food and has selected two of his favourite curries from Goa for you.

- BEEF VINDALOO -
This family recipe hails from Goa and brings a brighter, less spicey and more aromatic version to the Australian favourite.

- VEGETABLE MAKHANAWALA -
James claims this to be the greatest of all Indian Vegetarian curries. Its mild spice and aromatics blend with the richness of ghee and yoghurt to give a beautifully balanced and indulgent dish…. also it’s heaps of fun to say.

Curry’s are portioned per person and come with rice pilau at $20.

The Streeterie Takeaway Window is back this weekend!!

There will be some subtle changes as we are testing out what works best for us and of course for you.

This weekend we will stay open through the afternoon (unless sold out) and close a little earlier, in the evening, as opposed to closing between lunch and dinner.

Rice paper rolls & Banh Mi are definitely back on the menu, with some tweaks to make them even better, in our opinion πŸ˜‰
AND we will have some new items for you to try as well! So keeeeen!!

So not street food, Vietnamese Cuisine, fine dining by the bay style.
Turmeric Braised Cobia fish in a clay hot pot (my favourite dish in Vietnam so far) was amazing it was served with just plain rice and some herbs and soy cause on the side, which when added made it absolutely sing. The turmeric infused oil from the fish coated the rice and your mouth so nicely and knowing the chefs would’ve used fresh turmeric from the resort’s organic garden, explains why it was soo full of flavour.

Also, a version of Bun Cha - pork rissoles and strips of pork with a colourful salad all cut up finely on top of vermicelli noodles with a delicious and generous serve of a really sweet almost syrupy fish sauce dressing it came with some spring rolls too, which added a nice crunch to the bowl.

This was an amazing meal, absolutely far too much food, but absolutely delicious, the chefs and the ingredients at An Lam Resort are something special.
