Waiting patiently for all my w**e babies to slowly express themselves through these winter months. Itās a beautiful time as a w**emaker - to contemplate, to plan, to dream, to restā¦ (I wish!!). But tasting through these w**es makes me feel so close to the slow art of making things. Everything. For me, itās making w**e. For all my market friends, itās making Turkish delight, cheese, salumi, sourdough breads, Korean and Thai sauces (that Iām addicted to) and on the list goes. Itās about remembering just how delicious food and w**es can be when made with love and muscles and how lucky we are that there are makers out there who in spite of all the challenges keep on going so that we can all enjoy these tastes, flavours and textures that you just canāt get with commercially made products. So I wish you all a beautiful day or evening or whatever it is for you, and I hope that you are enjoying something handmade, something really special, by a person in their small w**ery or factory or home kitchen, a place full of dreams, ambitions, real life and joy š„°
