Sometimes I just cannot help myself!

I need to capture the beautiful rays of sun on a bag of our fruit.

It makes my heart so happy.

Other days it may be a flower while I’m out on a walk ✨

I think they call this living in the moment, and some might say you don’t need to document everything…. I say if it makes me smile and hopefully someone else smile, then why not?

The wonderful 65mm of rain recently has made the weeds spring up like you wouldn’t believe. (0k full disclosure they were probably high anyway 😀)

Mr Niche is having major issues with his knee at the moment so we have not yet started pruning and he is unable to ride the spray rig to spray the weeds.

You know what though? That’s totally okay, it has forced him to rest, put his leg up, and when his leg is not being iced or up he has caught up on BAS, so there’s a silver lining to every cloud ✨

As much as I love everything neat, tidy and in order I sometimes just have to let go and let things play out by themselves sometimes.

It all comes together in the end…… sometimes it’s messy but we manage 😀✨☕️

There’s a few wonky labels in this next drop 🥰 I had a helper with me in Monday who got into labelling bags with gusto!

She was so excited to be helping Nan at work that she was slapping them labels down like you wouldn’t believe, we did such a great job listening and helping that I’m going to hire her again…… just sayin ✨✨

Thanks Miss M, I loved your enthusiasm and conversation in the shed with me.

Hey Peeps,

Did you ever get some dried fruit that wasnt as soft as you usually like it?

If you find your dried fruit is drier than you would normally like here’s a tip for you 😀 I mean i would monitor exactly how much moisture you add, generally a spritz with a spray bottle or a quick dunk in some fresh water will do the trick for you.

On a side note: For those of you who are ordering our preservative free apricots lately, you may have noticed that we no longer sell them soft, we are finding that it can be a balancing act getting these apricots perfect so we now let you do the soaking, that way you can get exactly what you like.

We would love any feedback on how you are going with that if you have recently brought some.

I think she has covered the process pretty well.

You may remember seeing her in our Christmas Video of her and Leon scraping apricots to a Christmas carol, they loved working for us so much the first year that they asked us to hold a place for them the following year and they also brought their friend Steve with them.
