Little Sunday sesh Mountain Culture Melbourne throwing back a few of the new Juice Trip NEIPA - Blood Orange!✌🏻

It’s perfect for summer, thank you for the sunshine today Melbourne! Clean, crisp, bursting with citrus, back end pith and all round delicious. Barely touching the sides and great for this warm day.

Gonna be a perfect fridge filler for summer. Fresh blood orange from Gleadell Street Market the perfect Richmond pairing.

Homegrown 🇦🇺
This series from St Andrews Beach Brewery heroes local producers, gotta love that! Utilising products grown on the Mornington Peninsula these beers really hit the spot.

Harvest Lager 4.5% made with Hawkes Farm malt. A smooth malty lager, light citrus and some herbal notes, makes for a simple yet refined lager 🍺

Harvest stout 4.4% made with Devilbend Farm Beer malts. A big time roasty number, some back end smoke all in a tidy low % beer. Perfect for Sunday afternoon by the water in winter 🍺

Two easy beers that hit the spot. One crushable and one full of flavour. A series I hope continues to hero Mornington Peninsula 🙌🏻

Fair to say there is a whole lot of Hop Products Australia hops used in these tins! How good they are so close to each other - FRESH HOPS!

Wowee, where to start and where to finish. Happy to have shared these in the park with friends so we could get through a few different flavours!
Honourable mentions - Fred’s (Mrs Squiddy’s fav), fishing friends and midnight in the mountains.
MVP of the day - Mount Hopmore WCIPA. Epic collab brew - hops, pine, bitterness and resin, everything you want in a good westie. It’s also moreish making you come back for sip after sip, working on those bicep curls 💪🏻🍺

Happy Canada Day!🇨🇦🍁🍻
You may be aware of maple syrup and smores but this is a super Canadian sweet treat - Nanaimo bars!🍫🥥
Thanks Mrs Squiddy for making a homemade batch 🥰

Named after the BC town Nanaimo, they consist of three distinct layers: a crunchy chocolate, coconut, and nut base; a creamy, vanilla-custard buttercream filling; and a smooth, bittersweet chocolate ganache topping.

Muskoka Brewery and Vancouver Island Brewing have collaborated for one epic porter! Huge in size and definitely one to jack up the blood sugar levels, and my god the barreling makes it even better!

🇨🇦 Nanaimo Bar Imperial Porter 9.0%
Sweet, coconut and smooth. Higher alcohol than a normal porter adds to the body and bolsters the beer adding a nice roundness. 568ml a lot for one but this sweet tooth was up for the challenge.

🇨🇦 Nanaimo Bar Imperial Porter - Barrel Aged 11.5%
Honestly up there with beer of the year for me (I know it’s not from this year, 2023?) The bourbon barrel of 6 months adds velvety vanilla in the mix with the coconut and chocolate, added viscosity and a fantastic aroma.

Both of these fantastic for the cold that comes with Canada Day in Australia!

Winter solstice at home this year. A little DIY Bright Brewery Darker Days Festival minus the always awesome bonfire 🔥

Dark beer in full swing to match the drizzly and cold Melbourne weather 🥶
🖤 Salted Caramel Affogato Stout 6.0%
🖤 Affogato Stout 5.5%
🖤 Stubborn Imperial Stout 2026 10.5%

The annual releases of stubborn and affogato are always something to look forward to in winter and this year is no different. Affogato bringing rich bitter coffee thanks to Sixpence Coffee and smooth, sweet vanilla ice cream to balance it all out. I like the classic much more than the salted caramel variant.
Stubborn is the champion here though. Boozy, bold and smooth as. Liquorice, warming booze and some chocolate make for a winter sipper in an oodie or by the fire. Would’ve made for a great evening by the stubborn bar in Bright.

One last at .360 😢🍻

This Wednesday our run club bids farewell with one all mighty bang. Our OG course, a lap of the MCG, followed by a mid week sesh for the ages.

Join us from 5:30pm to give the bar the farewell it deserves.

So many great memories of this Richmond craft beer staple. Cheers for everything .360 you will be missed ♥️
Run club will live on, come along to find out more and socials release after we give 360 a proper send off!

Ok, so post run you might be thinking is beer the answer. If you’re on the fence then the answer is yes. And I can confirm an even bigger yes is ginger beer!

have made one heck of a refreshing ginger beer. It’s ginger spicy, a little sweetness and a hint of chilli. Honestly barely touched the sides and was a great post refresher 💥

The white bottle is the alcoholic GB coming in at 4% and the blue bottle their NA. Both tasting great, run club stamp of approval all round, even from the ginger beer skeptics!

Thanks for giving us a go trying them. Tasty gear!

A beer straight after my heart, a true reflection of everything that makes a hazy delicious. Full smooth and creamy mouthfeel of tropical fruit, mango, grapefruit goodness, low bitterness and high enjoyment. Creamy and delicious.
An outstanding beer and one worthy of celebrating the amazing, caring and patient Mrs (superhero) Squiddy 🦸🏻‍♀️

✨THE GATHERING ✨

held a festival up in Katoomba showcasing some of the best beers this great world has to offer, and now the remnants have come to !!!!

$13 schooners all day and if you’re lucky you can see some in the weeks to come. Kegs live until they’re gone.

I say we and I mean you and I don’t know how Supercharged DIPA 8% 🇬🇧
Silent Stout Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout w/ coconut 13.5% 🇸🇪

This is an incredible opportunity to try world class beers live in our home town, at stupid prices. Not to mention the DIPA, Hazy IPA, WCIPA and WCIPA that we also enjoyed!

Get down to your local MC and enjoy a couple guest taps!

Wet and wild weekend = chesterfield and a big stout 🛋️🖤🍻☔️

🇨🇦 x 🇬🇷
Imperial Stout w/ Chocolate, Vanilla and Hazelnut 11.5%

Silky smooth dessert in a glass. This collab screams liquid ferrero rocher. Vanilla meets hazelnut in perfect harmony as it twists and turns with rich chocolate and undertones of coffee. Not too viscous but syrupy enough to enhance the indulgence. As always, Third Moon stouts never disappoint.
A collab I never expected but I’m wanting more. Fortunate to have visited both of these breweries in their home countries!
Great to share this with the great man 🤝🏻
