Had a great day at the Royal Adelaide Show Ram sale on Friday coming home with Roemahkita 250625 for $20000. ‘Big Joe’ expels all of our breeding objectives showing faultless structural attributes with outstanding bone structure, perfect on his feet on short pasterns with great width, depth and a huge twist behind. Carrying a great amount of fibre sitting in the top 5% of industry for YCFW and also ACFW, hence winning the inaugural best in show for the Sustainable Merino index and placing second in the Inaugural Wool Production index section. Thankyou Roemahkita Poll Merino Stud for the opportunity and Nutrien Livestock - S.A. Stud Stock also Cousins Merino Services for all your help. Can’t wait to see his progeny come through.

Exciting times being had at Whitehill recently! We were lucky enough to score some great rains late February early March which has given us some great feed for our ewes to lamb onto. Lambing has only been going for 11 days and we have already dropped down 50% of our potential foetuses, in the first cycle showing great fertility with majority of our mating groups being single mates this is an exciting time that’s showing our rams worth.
