Next Wednesday’s menu is here! And we’ve got a little bit of everything this week. 😋

🥢 Soy & Garlic Chicken with Stir-Fry Veg & Noodles – $35
Tender chicken with loads of fresh stir-fry veg and noodles, all tossed through a savoury soy and garlic sauce.
🥩 Beef & Bacon Cottage Pie – $35
Rich, hearty beef mince with bacon, topped with creamy mashed potato and cheese, then baked until golden and bubbling.
🥔 Family Potato Bake – $15
Layers of tender potato in a creamy sauce with plenty of golden cheese. Perfect as a side, or let’s be real, perfectly acceptable to eat on its own. 😂
🍫 Chocolate Fudge Cake – $8
A 600g tray of rich, moist chocolate fudge cake finished with thick chocolate fudge icing. Chocolate therapy in a foil tray. 😂🤎

Consider this your Mid-Week Reset. If you're feeling the slump here in Salisbury North, let us be your "Easy Button." Forget about the dishes and the "what's for dinner?" stress. The Lasagne Queen has been busy in the kitchen handcrafting every meal with fresh ingredients so you don't have to.

Our weekly hot dinners are ready for you to swing by and grab, making your Wednesday night completely stress-free. There's nothing better than a home-cooked meal you didn't have to cook yourself!

Pick up is every Wednesday between 5:00 PM and 6:30 PM.

Ever wonder why some sponges are light as air while others feel a bit... heavy? It usually comes down to the science of over-mixing.

When we mix flour with wet ingredients, we’re developing gluten. A little gluten is great for structure, but too much turns your handcrafted cake into something more like bread. Once those dry ingredients are in, I always switch to a gentle hand-fold to keep things soft and delicate.

It’s all about finding that sweet spot for the perfect sponge. How do you tell when your batter is just right? Let me know in the comments!
