Nice drive to Texas to drop all our finished steers to Wyalla Feedlot, and de-stock Mawarra ready for winter feed to be ready.
The Banamba truck (red rocket) came off the fridges to run cattle for a trip. She is red hot and got a lot of looks and comments.
One thing I did notice, it was bone dry the entire trip. Everyone is struggling with the dry, and that has certainly been represented with massive yarding numbers last few weeks.

Happy new year everyone
Update on what is happening at BA
Beautiful stud heifers and few bulls (don’t tell anyone) coming through which will be registered and selling in March and May. Look at how this one stands
We had the herd up last week for treatment and to put them together as we have Tank Mountain with only good feed after major pasture improvement was undertaken.
The welcome rain has sparked things up, with more on the way.
Big Maverick is in for some foot work and we have been spending plenty of time with him. This video was about 5 minutes in, when he was letting me know to keep going. He means a lot to me and is a 1 in 100 bull. He is smart, intelligent, and packs a punch in breeding power and temperament.

Update coming as we have 65 PTIC heifers for sale in February and March. These are highly impressive.

Hi EVERYONE.
We are in process of planting corn for silage or cob. Has anyone got contacts with diary farmers or demand and ability to harvest.
As you know it’s very expensive with seed, fertiliser and water and we want to enter contract with farmer within next few weeks.
We are trying to maximum dollars per tonne to pay for the crop. Please get in contact with us or if you can refer us would be greatly appreciated.
Expected wet tonne 2100-2250.

We have 30x fantastic heifers with 2-4 month old calves at foot on auction plus next week, and are now able to sell 8-10 stud heifers with calves at foot or can purchase these heifers or 3 bulls who will be weaning in 2 months.

The Oats has been cut, baled and put away.
This crop is our best oats yet, full of seed and 100% pure

Thanks to the boys putting in some big days to get it done. Enjoyed helping them yesterday. These large squares are for sale now or in winter.
Can deliver for rigid loads. Happy to share feed tests for buyers.
