What a crazy day!
It began chasing a lamb around the paddock, which refused to follow the rest, onto the trailer.
Change of clothes after falling over in the paddock and having to wrestle a lamb to the ground.
Dropped the 6 lambs off at the Sale yards and went off to see a client.
Went back to the auction at lunchtime.
Then back to work again.

As a kid it seemed more fun, tagging along with dad to the sales.
Price was a bit disappointing in the end, but a learning experience all the same.

UPDATE: We have located a lovely local home for Bobby to go to. 🍼 🐑 ❤️

With Wayne starting a new job this week, we have regretfully come to realise we can't continue to raise Bobby here. She requires 5 feeds a day at the moment and we simply won't be home to do that during the day, a few days each week.
So we are open to hearing from anyone who would like to help. Either as foster care or adoption.
Please DM us asap.

An apology, I said I would have all our farm experiences and information and confirmed opening date this week but it has been hectic on the dairy farm 🐮

But I have everything almost everything ready and will do up all the details this coming week along with our exact opening date (but it will be in the upcoming school holidays!)- and sharing the pretty mammoth task of getting everything back in shape before opening.

But today we picked up Benny! He joins M’oops in our petting zoo - a huge thank you to Yintarini Farm for letting us adopt this little dude. Yesterday I also picked up some gorgeous friendly Frizzle hens and a rooster - 🤞 for baby chicks! And one of our original Berry Dairy oprphan lambs had her first baby yesterday too ❤️

Also - not the best photo of me and Benny - I’m going to blame the sun in my eyes, but more likely the fact of too many wines on Friday night 😅

Yesterday The Berry Dairy put a call out for poddy lambs to be part of their educational petting experience, opening again in Sept.

After much contemplation, we decided bringing joy to children and families would be a lovely way for Benny to live out his life.

So after his breakfast feed, Nicole and the kids called in to pick him up.

Look out for Benny at the Berry Dairy soon.

Meanwhile, we can get a full night's sleep again.

UPDATE - thanks for all your suggestions! And the winning name is Benny, thanks to the Hilder
family.

We need your help!

This fella 🐑 was one of a twin born two days ago

After a lot of effort to get mum to accept her lamb, it just wasnt to be

Looks like we are back to bottle feeding again and some interrupted night sleep

We like to name our poddy lambs, so its an easy way to talk about them

Hit us with your best BOY name here and we will pick one by the end of the weekend.
