My take on a Caesar salad… with a little European twist!

Crispy Prosciutto di Carpegna PDO fried in the pan until golden and crunchy, layered on top of crisp cos lettuce with boiled egg, shaved Parmesan, sliced eye fillet and a creamy Caesar dressing.

The crispy Prosciutto di Carpegna PDO takes this from your everyday Caesar to something a little extra, salty, savoury and SOOO SO good.

This recipe was made as part of the EU Gem Ham campaign, celebrating the quality and tradition of European ham.

Recently we enjoyed a fabulous dinner at The Fishbar 🙌 🐟

Everything from the fresh pacific oysters to the grilled snapper and chips was so yummy and fresh, we couldn’t fault it!
The service was great, and from the moment we arrived it was friendly and attentive, and all the dishes came out perfectly timed. 👏

We dined early on First Table because we wanted to try it out and save some money on a mid week feed.

I recommend you trying it out too!

Big night at for the art comp and wow… what a vibe 🎨🔥

Three rounds, artists going head-to-head, pieces coming to life right in front of us, then straight to auction. The energy was unreal. ✨️

So much talent in one room. Huge shoutout to all the incredible artists who brought it 👏✨

The service was warm and genuine, with that comforting, homestyle feel, and every dish hit the mark.

We had the barramundi, pork, and steak mains, all absolutely delicious, plus a side of octopus, truffle fries, and some pickled veg to round it out.

We will be back for another visit!

ne_ is open till late!

We got there at 9.30pm and it was still pumping when we left at almost 11.

Hey fellow doggy lovers 🐾 🧡

Here’s a peek at my at home recipes I make for my dogs each week. Today I used grass fed beef mince, sweet potato, potato, carrots, broccoli, tomato, and eggs, I mix it up to cover their nutritional needs, including calcium, omega-3s, protein, and vitamins. A sprinkle of fresh parsley too! (I Swap between chicken & turkey mince and add or swap in peas, pumpkin and zucchini).

I don’t buy store pet food because I don’t know what’s in it, and most kibble is just empty carbs. I know this because when I feed them kibble (even the most fancy and expensive brands!!!) they are hungry so quickly and Buddy’s skin breaks out into itchiness 😢

My dogs are 13 and 15, and I love feeding them home cooked meals when I can. ❤️

On days when I haven’t had time, I’ll swap in things like canned wild caught salmon, eggs, and other simple whole foods.

Homemade doesn’t have to be complicated! it just has to be real foods and nutritious. 💛
