Insect pests are controlled primarily through outrageous ecosystem diversity and where needed biological inputs are used and often brewed on farm such as specific bacteria's and virus strains to control coddling moth and other apple/pear eating insects. Conventionally grown apples are laced with known neurotoxins, not at Black Barn Farm, eat fresh apples straight from the orchard. Come talk to Charlie about how to grow apples without poisons!
