Thank you to everyone that supported another fantastic Farm Fresh Friday.
This Friday was one of the biggest yet and I’m still on limited produce availability, I can’t wait to have a full range and lots of it.
Because this week was so big unfortunately I can not attend the Woodford Country Markets as all produce has sold out.
Thank you for all the support, the existing customers and it was so good to see so many new customers collecting the best spray free produce.
And thank you to Sunshine.Seedling.Co for again delivering another batch of seedlings to help fix the supply issue.
You can buy there seedlings this weekend at the Yandina market tomorrow and the Caboolture Markets on Sunday.

Produce beds are looking good.
These beds have had my own made organic fertiliser, dolomite and worm castings added to the soil.
An experiment plantings closer to keep gaps a bit smaller, a layer of aged used pine shavings is having good results in crop growth and the weeds and nut grass at this stage is suppressing.
I also did not rotary hoe this soil, just reformed beds with the hiller, the more you work the soil the more the nut grass wakes and grows amazingly.
I am slowly removing all the agricultural plastic and growing the produce here how I envisaged, it’s more work but it suits my way of thinking and growing.

I’ve been digging Purple Skin sweet potatoes and some are absolutely huge.
If you want to add them to your farm fresh Friday produce order be quick because I’m only digging so many this week to keep a supply going over the next few weeks.

It won’t be long till the Green Oak Leaf Lettuce and more Cos Lettuce will be ready.
Also the Savoy Cabbage is looking amazing with emerging leaves.
One thing to remember that in a garden we need good bugs but at the same time we also need the bad guys.

We have more amazing spray free produce availabile this week thanks to Glass House Tropical Fruits. With our collaboration and joining forces with the same goal in mind we can grow more and supply more to our amazing customers. What I do here at my farm we do the same over there, locally grown spray free produce. I have lots planted so far and more going in this week. If you don’t follow there page head iver check it out and follow the weekends pick your own strawberries.
I also have Pimsorganics certified organic strawberries available this week farm fresh Friday.
Produce availability list comes out at 3pm today so be quick as I said in the video to many times 😂 it sells out fast.

To help be more self sustainable I make my own fertiliser. I have two reasons. One being fertiliser to purcahse is expensive and two making my own supports other small business and I know what’s in the fertiliser blend.
Key ingredients are aged chook manure, frass and worm castings and these make a excellent fertiliser that grows my vegetables strong and healthy and also feeds the microbes in the soil which in return gives me a healthy soil that supports healthy strong growth of crops.
