Water tank cleaning done properly is more than just sucking out some mud. As licenced tradesmen we take a different approach and look at why the tank has become so contaminated, what can be done to prevent it happening again and also to check that things like the electrical wiring is done to Australian standards and defect free.
We have a purpose built vacuum and service truck and trailer to ensure your job no matter how big or small, is cleaned and checked as if we were doing our own homes. We take great pride in what we do and the high standards we set for ourselves. We can also clean your pipes using our water jet pipe cleaner and we can vacuum clean any charged lines feeding your water tank.
As a consumer, you should be checking that people are fully licenced and insured. Ask to see licenses and insurance certificates of currency.
We are seeing a lot of newer homes with water tanks installed to comply with their DA’s are having problems with their toilets,washing machines and filters because the builders have not installed the water tanks properly. With no filtration of the water entering your water tank, the tanks become dirty very quickly and appliances like washing machines do not cope with sediment in the water. Filtration systems are not designed to cope with large amounts of mud and debris. They are designed to filter out fine particles and clog up very quickly when the water quality is poor.
If you have a water tank, no matter how big or small you need to ensure that the water entering your tank is the best quality possible. Things like first flush traps or charged lines with flush points all help to keep your tanks mud free but regular maintenance is required. When cleaning and servicing your tanks, we ensure that you are aware of what you need to do so that your tanks are kept clean after we have finished. Perhaps some modifications are required to help,with that but whatever it is we can help. Water tank cleaning and servicing is an important part of ensuring your water quality remains good, your pump is protected and your filters are not overwhelmed.
We offer a range of tank cleaning services from small residential tanks to large commercial tanks.
We have purpose built vacuum units where we suck out all the mud and sludge into the truck. Tanks can then be pressure washed and vacuumed again restoring your tank to like new.
We can also service your pump, check your filtration to ensure that your water quality is going to be as good as possible.
It is important to remember that your pump will not cope with mud and sludge nor will your plumbing. We see many tanks where people have not realised that the tanks need cleaning every few years. It is far more economical to clean the tank than replace the pump.

Water Tank Cleaning and Servicing is the only way to ensure your water quality is good and your pump is safe from damage.
We clean and service all types of tanks both above and below ground. Our service truck has all the equipment required to do the job as well as carrying spare parts for any repairs that maybe required. Our team are licenced tradesmen so if there are electrical or plumbing problems we can sort them out while we are there.
There are a few ways to clean your tanks from merely trying to suck up the mud like cleaning a pool which is very limited to being only able to reach as far as you can from the manhole. That is ok if the mud is minimal and you don’t have smelly water, slimy water, lots of leaves and sticks or had dead animals inside. In any of those cases, rather than pour lots of chemical into the tanks, we prefer to empty the tank, pressure wash the inside and vacuum out all of the debris. The photos show different jobs, the different results and you can see that our results speak for themselves. And with no chemical.
The second part to our service is to find out why your tank has become so contaminated. There are lots of very inexpensive ways to filter the water BEFORE it gets to your tank. We see clients who have spent many thousands of dollars installing water filtration systems and try to filter the dirty water that is in the tanks. This never works. Those types of filtration systems are designed to filter very fine silt particles and take the cloudiness out of what is really clean water. They do not cope with mud and sludge as that is not what they are designed to do despite the fact that people are told otherwise. By filtering the water before the tank and some regular maintenance, you can have clean clear water without spending a lot of money. First flush traps can be bought for as low as $50 and do a fantastic job of filtering the water before it reaches the tank. We look at all options and what is best suited to your system and requirements. We also service pumps, repair pumps, repair or replace float switches etc remembering we are licensed tradesmen.
