Hotpot lovers this one is for you 🍲

The Dolar Shop is easily one of our favourite hotpot spots in Sydney. Their soup bases are unique and flavourful, and the service is always super attentive. Our absolute favourite is the Silver Exquisite Soup! it’s super peppery, warms your stomach, and honestly the main reason we keep coming back. We’ve tried finding this soup elsewhere but it never tastes the same.

All the ingredients are super fresh, the meats are beautifully sliced, and the whole experience just feels a bit more premium compared to your typical hotpot spot. It’s definitely one of those places you can keep coming back to and it never disappoints.

Even better, they’re currently running 30% OFF Happy Hour from 12PM – 4:30PM (Monday to Sunday) which is perfect for a hotpot lunch or late afternoon feast.

And the best way to finish? Free ice cream after your meal🍦

Finally tried SAN SAN in Revesby 🥪

We’ve been seeing this spot all over socials so we had to give it a go. The sandwiches were decent with fresh ingredients, generous fillings and good flavour.

We tried:
• San San Deli – a simple classic
• Korean Chicken – crispy, saucy and packed with kimchi, definitely the standout (Cyn’s fave)
• Pistachio Mortadella – creamy, nutty and with a touch of honey that made it super tasty (Lils fav)

We also tried their Banana Pudding and Tiramisu Lattes, which were nice but that was about it.

Overall, a solid spot if you’re in the area, but the Korean Chicken and Pistachio Mortadella were definitely the winners.

First time at and wow every single plate that hit the table was just a 10/10 🤌🏻

Fresh oysters, perfectly cooked seafood, and beautiful waterfront views — everything about this restaurant was spot on. The scampi on brioche toast was a standout, so fresh and full of flavour ( a must order if you go) can’t forget about the octopus on flatbread, which turned into a mini taco 🌮 the octopus was perfectly charred and so tender — literal flavour explosion!!!

‘Le Fixe’ Set Menu

Dined at Armorica and had a wonderful experience overall. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was exceptional. The appetizers were delicious, and the sides complemented the main dishes perfectly. However, unfortunately the steak was a bit tougher than we hoped for. While the flavor was there, the texture could have been improved. Despite that, the rest of the meal was fantastic, and LOVED the dessert but we forgot to take a pic 😅
