To my wonderful Bella Cakes and Bakes community,
This is a post I never thought I’d have to write.
Over the past week, I have been seriously unwell and have spent a week in hospital receiving blood transfusions and treatment for sepsis. While I am now home, I am still undergoing further investigations, and doctors are working to finalise an underlying diagnosis.
With a very heavy heart, I have made the difficult decision to temporarily close Bella Cakes and Bakes and will not be taking any new orders until further notice.
This business has been my passion for many years, and making cakes to celebrate your special moments has been an absolute privilege. Making this decision has been incredibly difficult, but right now my focus has to be on my health and recovery.
To everyone who has supported my small business, trusted me with your celebrations, recommended me to friends and family, and cheered me on over the years—thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your kindness has meant more than you’ll ever know.
If you currently have an order booked with me, I have sent you a private DM.
You will continue to see me post on my socials of cakes still in the archives yet to make their debut on my page.
I truly hope this is only a temporary chapter, and I look forward to the day I can return to doing what I love.
