• Offer food that has been produced with environmental sensitivity
• Purchase in bulk, thus offering customers the best price available on goods
• Avoid waste created by over-packaging by encouraging customers to re-use jars, bags and containers
• Be a part of our local community and offer service in an old-fashioned, personal way
• Be an active participant in events that help raise awareness of environmental issues

25% off bulk local honey from Snives Hives!

Snives Honey are not only famous for their seasonal honey in jars with the beautiful labels - they also provide us with bulk honey. The local honey is collected from hives in Terrey Hills and Ingleside.

Even better, we return their bulk containers for reuse over and over again. It's truly a packaging-free option.

We love it when we are able to receive our bulk goods in reusable containers. Shout out also to Soprano Coffee who reuse the same drums for their bulk deliveries.

Snives Hives bulk local honey is just $21.25 until next Wednesday 14 October.

Saving things from landfill! 🪛

Last weekend we held our first community repair event 'Manly Fixers'.

It's part of our monthly sustainable living event program.

We fixed many items of clothing & jewellery, a stuffed toy, a leather bag, a wooden stool and more!

Congrats to volunteer fixers Bob, Daiana, Keelah, Vince & Yee. And to our participants who got involved and took home valuable new skills. 🪡

Follow us for details of the next event.

By member request! We now stock bamboo toothbrushes with natural bristles made from either boar or horse hair.

When you are done with it, you can throw the whole thing in the compost!

The bristles are ethically sourced and sanitised. The horse hair is from normal grooming and the boar hair is a by-product of the meat industry.

Available in both adult and kids sizes. There is a tester on display so you can have a look at and feel the bristles. Just not in your mouth please!

So easy to make!

These delicate Italian ricciarelli get their soft, chewy centre and crackled sugar shell from almond flour – a swap that is more than just gluten-free.

Almond flour brings a natural dose of vitamin E, magnesium, and protein to the mix and a hint of citrus zest keeps things bright.

Tip: Chill the shaped balls (keep them small, around 22g each) for around 30 mins up to overnight, before baking. It will help to stop them spreading while they bake.

This is a luxury product, not going to lie.

From Wild Mother in Tasmania, this beautiful maple syrup with fruity notes is delicious on yoghurt or a bowl of oats, or use it anywhere you'd use maple syrup. Including in your coffee or chai.

Treat yourself (or someone else)!

Pepo Farms bulk almond flour is our Product of the Week!

Made from almonds sourced from farming collectives across Victoria and NSW, this flour is cold-pressed for oil then finely milled.

Naturally gluten-free and high in calcium, it has a light, nutty flavour and tender texture that makes it ideal for cakes, breads, and almond-based desserts. Produced in Ovens, VIC using traditional European pressing methods, it delivers both nutrition and finesse in every bake.

Almond flour is on special this week at only $24.13/kilo! This offer ends Wednesday 23 September.
