👀 Before Kanto Bagnet… can you guess who’s in this photo? 😄

🎉🎂 Happy Birthday to the man behind Kanto Bagnet… whether he likes the attention or not! ❤️

If you’ve visited Kanto Bagnet, you’ve probably met Chef Reniel (Oji). He’s the one cooking, plating, serving, and making sure every dish that leaves our food truck is something he’d be proud to serve.

What many people don’t know is that his culinary journey started long before Kanto Bagnet. He studied Culinary Arts at ISCAHM (International School for Culinary Arts and Hotel Management) and spent years honing his craft at Bizu Patisserie & Bistro, K*K Restaurant, Zola Resto & Cafe before becoming Head Chef at Baguio Crown Legacy Hotel.

The funny thing is… you’d never hear him tell you any of that. He’s one of the most humble, shy, and low-key people I know. No bragging, no name-dropping—just someone who quietly lets his food do the talking. He’s probably already asking me to delete this post. 😂

I recently Googled his name and came across this old article from over 10 years ago featuring his work. His reaction? “That was a long time ago.” 🤷‍♂️

As your wife, I’m posting this because I know you never would. ❤️ Thank you for your hard work, your dedication, and for sharing your passion with our community.

Happy Birthday, Chef! 🥳 We love you, we’re proud of you, and we can’t wait to see what the future has in store.
