Our Story
My name is Kate Myers. As a little girl my brother used to call me Cake - I think because that was easier to say than Kate, or maybe he just liked cake more than me. For as long as I can remember I have always loved being in the kitchen with my Mum and baking and especially decorating cakes and cupcakes. Pink icing and sprinkles were my favourite. I still use the same vanilla cupcake recipe that my Mum used when we were little kids - and it's amazing!
Cake Myers was created from what was a part time hobby to something I am passionate about and love doing.
Stuck in the 9-5 grind for a big corporate company, I was spending every moment I had free looking for inspiration, trying new decorating techniques and baking treats for my family and friends.
As the years went by, this hobby has truly taken over and now I hope to share my passion with you. My hope is to make every occasion with Cake Myers as delightful as possible with my sweet creations.
