🌈Rainbow Salad with Mango & Crumbled Goats Cheese 🌈

What you’ll need:
• 1 packet of Asian salad mix (or any salad mix you’ve got on hand)
• A handful of spinach leaves
• 1 red salad onion, thinly sliced
• 1 red capsicum, sliced
• Cherry tomatoes, halved
• Cucumber, sliced
• 1 juicy mango
• ½ packet of goats cheese, crumbled

How to make it:
Just toss everything into your favourite salad bowl and give it a good mix. Simple, fresh, and so delicious.

Country Mumma Tip:
I squeeze the leftover pulp from the mango seed straight over the salad — it makes the best natural dressing. But use whatever dressing your heart desires! 😍

Today I’m fuelling my body with this simple yet satisfying high-protein lunch — perfect for busy country mums who want to eat well and feel their best 💚

Juicy steak, seasoned with black pepper, smoked paprika & pink Himalayan salt
Fresh baby spinach for iron and vitamins
A sprinkle of Parmesan cheese for flavour and calcium
Finished with a creamy Greek yoghurt & lemon herb dressing — homemade and packed with probiotics

Every country home has steak in the freezer and spinach in the garden — which makes this nourishing meal quick, affordable, and full of farm-fresh goodness.

It’s ok to fall off the healthy wagon sometimes,Ladies …

Bailey has been unwell again — we just can’t seem to shake these awful flus going around 🤧
We spent most of the night up together, and now he’s refusing to eat, only wanting boobie milk 💕

So today… this tired Mumma is feeling a bit flat.
And for lunch?
A big ol’ bowl of Coco Pops 😅🍫

And you know what? That’s ok.
Some days are about survival, not perfection.
The healthy meals, the routines, the workouts — they’ll all be there when things settle down.
But for now, I’m soaking up the cuddles, sipping my coffee, and taking it all in ☕️

To all the other Mummas in the thick of it — you’re doing an amazing job. 💛

🌾💛 Mum Burnout is Real 💛🌾

Some days, being a mum feels like you’re being pulled in a hundred directions at once — the kids, the house, the meals, the washing, the farm, the bills… it’s no wonder we end up feeling burnt out and agitated

But here’s the thing: it’s more than okay to take a step back.
It’s okay to make yourself a hot cuppa, sit in silence, breathe deep, and simply be. No guilt. No pressure. No “I should be doing something else.”

Sometimes the most productive thing we can do is allow ourselves a few minutes or hours of peace and stillness. 💭☕🌿

So if you’re feeling tired, stretched thin, or just craving a little serenity today… give yourself permission. You don’t need to earn your rest. You deserve it. Always. 💛

Your family 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒deserves the best version of you , not the cranky burnt out one !
