👩🏼‍🍳 Here’s some meal plan inspiration for you all!

This week’s meal plan was built around what I already had in the fridge, freezer and pantry, with only a few extra ingredients needed from the shops 🙌🏼

Meal planning is such a great way to make the most of what you already have, reduce food waste, and take away that nightly “what’s for dinner?” mental load. It also helps keep the grocery budget in check and makes the week run that little bit smoother.

I’m definitely not perfect at it every week, but when I do sit down and make a plan, future me is always very grateful! 😆

😋 Chicken Stroganoff 😋

The best kind of meal — chuck it all in and let the Thermomix do its thing!

While this was cooking, I was busy wrangling children who had decided to destroy the pantry (it’s messy enough without them adding to it 🫠) and getting them through the bath. No standing over the stove, no constant stirring, and no worrying that dinner will burn while you’re busy doing all the other things.

It’s pretty much set and forget, with just a quick final touch at the end to bring it all together. Easy, tasty, and on the table with minimal effort 🙌🏼

Feeling very grateful for this wonderful winters day. Being able to get out for a walk with the kids in the fresh air and sunshine really boosts the mood and sets the tone for the rest of the day☀️

If dinner could magically sort itself tonight, what would you want on the table? 🍽️

Today was a day that I really wished I had a second bowl…

We started off with pear porridge for breakfast (which I didn’t get a photo of — it’s a pretty regular breakfast around here 🥣).

Later in the afternoon, I whipped up a batch of choc chip banana bread and some banana & raspberry muffins. Getting the hint that I had a few ripe bananas to use up? 😆

Thank goodness for Pre-Clean mode, because after baking it was time for the Thermomix’s third job of the day… risotto! And let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious.

The fridge was looking a little sparse, so I simply threw in half a zucchini, a chunk of pumpkin, half a sweet potato, some onion, chicken and frozen corn. It all came together beautifully and made for the perfect comforting dinner.

As much as I love how effortless Pre-Clean mode makes washing up between recipes, there are definitely days when a second bowl would be even better!
